My name is Krista and I live in the Blue Ridge Valley near Harrisonburg, Virginia, where I frequent the extensive trail network.

I am also an active mounted games rider with MGAA – Mounted Games Across America, where I compete in the Over25 division with my team, Ponynado.

SIMON

My sidekick is a 13.2h gelding named Simon.  He is a 15 year old, Chincoteague/Percheron cross I purchased as a 4 year old and promptly bonded with.  Simon has an amazing personality and is forever trying to please.

Simon loves spending the day trekking through the mountains and exploring new trails.  He also enjoys being a mounted games pony, although Simon would prefer to compete at his own, carousel pony pace.

Neville

Neville is a youngster I purchased as a 2yo in June of 2020.  He is a Gypsy Vanner X Haflinger cross.  Neville is kind and curious.  Currently I am ponying him on trail rides and working on preparing him for his under saddle training in the near future.  

I have always loved Gypsys, but purchasing a Gypsy under saddle has never been in my budget.  When a friend sent me the ad for a gypsy cross youngster I could not resist and decided it was a good time in my life to go through the adventuring of bringing him along.  He still has a lot of growing and thickening up to do and I cannot wait to see where we end up.  

DAISY

Daisy is my suspected-Catahoula Dog, rescued from the local SPCA 11 years ago.  She goes most places with me and is always in a happy mood.  Daisy loves spending the day in the woods following Simon on the trails and going to competitions.
